Southern Fried Crickets are created by Chef Daniel Asher of River & Woods restaurant. Brined in locally produced buttermilk, then dredged in non-GMO cornmeal, King Arthur flour and a secret blend of spices that include salt from the Salt Lake in UT, these whole cricket snacks (Acheta domesticus) are a craveable treat. Fried in Colorado safflower oil, these tasty nuggets  pair perfectly with lagers or a crisp cider, or can be a nutrition-packed addition to your hiking snacks.
